In recent years, the size of university undergraduates is becoming bigger and bigger,and the number of the graduate students is getting larger and larger. At the same time, the development of market economy makes the labor market become the basic mechanism of the human resource allocation. The employment situation of university graduates is increasingly rigorous, which urgently requests us to value and strengthen university undergraduate's career planning work. This work, however, starts late in Chinese universities and colleges, and can't meet the request of the situation development. Therefore, the author does special research on Chinese university undergraduate's career planning in order to promote its the oretical development and the practical instruction work.At first, the author defines the concept of career planning and distinguishes it from the related ambiguous conceptions,and introduces representative theories of career planning in foreign countries and regards them as the the oretical foundation of this thesis; Then, the author summarizes the problems in present university undergraduate's career planning, and workout career planning questionnaire and investigated the relationship between career planning and other factors; Finally, based on the national conditions and higher education realities in China, the author puts forward measures from two sides.Through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, we found that career-planning questionnaire consisted of six dimensions. The factor of grade had a significant effect on goal and plan. The factor of college had a significant effect on goal and plan, self-cognition, human relationship. The factor of gender had a significant effect on self-cognition, human relationship. According to career planning, college students could be classified into two types: high level and low level.
