Investigation And Assessment Methods Research On Swimming To Be Included In The Entrance Examination For High School Of Sport Options In Xiamen

Physical examination is a unified physical evaluation mode of the test for junior high school graduates, athletic performance and height, vital capacity, body mass index measurements of obtained at this stage. Swimming is not only a sports activity beneficial to health, but also a very important skill in our life. swimming training from childhood can build up physical fitness, improve heart and lung function, soften blood vessels and other benefits, it can be treated as a lifelong sport exercise. A document was issued that long-distance race(men’s 1000 m, Women’s 800m) and swimming(100m, regardless of swimming strokes) in Fujian in 2013,are set up as items of options compulsory endurance assessment for junior high school students in Xiamen.This study was conducted in the items of junior high school students to swimming learning and exercise approach in Xiamen City, for examination assessment criteria and assessment, requirements and the operational processes. By use of literature, questionnaire, expert interviews, data statistics and logical analysis, students, parents, schools and swimming pools in Xiamen investigate, this study analyze the constraints of Swimming projects included in examination of Xiamen Sports, proposed constructive implementation methods include the criteria, work rules and operating procedures of the assessment in future. Provide reference for the work of Xiamen City in the future.Survey showed that:1.The majority of students and parents believe swimming is a skill that must be mastered in Xiamen City. Swimming place for learning and exercise, most of them prefer in the school, on the school, more assured for the swimming lessons in the school, because the teaching quality and safety can be more protected, Do learning and training by the opportunities of swimming included in the sport examination.Two consecutive years the swimming was failed to include in the exam of sport in Xiamen for assessment, the main constraint is the swimming places, and teachers of teaching swimming and the safety in the education lack of school.2. Other provinces, especially in Jiangsu, Zhejiang has been carried out for many years, with a case of junior high school swimming places same as Xiamen, the measures of organizing the students to swimming learning and exercise and the criteria and work requirements of the assessment have been relatively mature, with great reference value.Study suggest that:According to the assessment criteria at all levels and all types of swimming grading standards other provinces and cities, to make up assessment criteria with a reference value. In order to ensure strict implementation of the assessment criteria and fair and open in the evaluation process, referring for the swim competition rules, Physical examination according to the needs assessment work on the rules and operating procedures make the appropriate changes to simplify. Provide a basis of reference that in the future Swimming to be included in the entrance examination for high school of sport options in Xiamen.
