The coming of knowledge economy brings enterprise and employees especially the knowledge-workers opportunities and challenges. Employees need to adjust themselves to adapt the ever-changing market conditions. To be competent to their job and to adapt to environment constantly have been the key point of the whole process of their career development. The ever-changing environment makes more possibilities to employees’career development and both the organization and individuals pay more attention to the career success. Hence, to explore the relationship of knowledge-workers’ career adaptability, career success and organizational support has much theoretical and practical value.On the base of career theory combining theory about adaptability and organizational support, a model of career adaptability, career success and organizational support is built in this paper. This paper refers to mature scales involving career adaptability, career success and organizational support. The study collects data from knowledge-workers based in Shanghai, then, takes advantage of SPSS 19.0 to do data statistics and analysis to verify the relation among career adaptability, career success and organizational support.This study mainly contains two parts, namely, theoretical study and empirical study. In the theoretical part, literature research method is applied to conclude and summarize existing research results, to define the conception of career adaptability, career success and organizational support, to review the relationship of the three variables. On the basis of literature research, research hypothesis and framework of this paper are built up.In the empirical part, questionnaires are used to collect 222 samples and SPSS 19.0 is used to analyze data. Firstly, Independent-Samples Test and Correlations are used to verify and modify the scales. Then, through internal reliability analysis, the reliability of each scale is been tested, and using factors analysis to extract factors. One-way ANOVA is applied to test the effect of demographic variable. Regression analysis is applied to investigate the relationship of career adaptability, career success and organizational support. The results show that education background, working years and position have significant effect on their career adaptability. Knowledge-employees’career adaptability has positive impact on their career success, and the working support from organization can strengthen the effect.At the end of this paper, suggestions are made to help employees improve career adaptability to promote the development of their career and also help the human resource management of the enterprise.
