| In the course of career development,the reform of basic education system and the low sense of social respect and gain have made the development of primary and middle school teachers face severe challenges.With the introduction of relevant national policies,the subjective career success of primary and middle school teachers has been paid more attention.As an important psychological resource and basis for individual career development,career adaptability and job crafting can help primary and middle school teachers effectively solve the challenges and difficulties encountered in career development,and play a positive role in achieving subjective career success for primary and middle school teachers.Therefore,this study conducted a questionnaire survey among 434 primary and middle school teachers to explore the specific relationships and mechanisms among career adaptability,job crafting and subjective career success of primary and middle school teachers.According to the results of relevant data analysis,the main conclusions are as follows:1.The career adaptability of primary and middle school teachers is above the average level,and there are significant differences in demographic variables such as school location,school period and age,which shows that the career adaptability of rural primary and middle school teachers is significantly better than that of urban primary and middle school teachers.Primary school teachers are obviously better than middle school teachers;The career adaptability of primary and middle school teachers shows a spiraling upward trend in age,but there will be a short trough period between31 and 40 years old.2.The job crafting ability of primary and middle school teachers is at the upper-middle level,and there are significant differences in age.Specifically,the older the primary and secondary school teachers are,the more likely they are to have job crafting behavior.3.The subjective career success of primary and middle school teachers is above the average level,and there are significant differences in the demographic variables such as age and years of working.Specifically,with the increase of age and years of working,the subjective career success of primary and middle school teachers gradually increases.4.There are significant positive correlations among career adaptability,job crafting and subjective career success.Career adaptability has a significant positive predictive effect on job crafting;Career adaptability also has a significant positive predictive effect on subjective career success.Job crafting has a significant positive predictive effect on subjective career success.Job crafting plays a partially mediating role in the influence of career adaptability on subjective career success of primary and middle school teachers.Combined with the research conclusions,in order to better help primary and middle school teachers to achieve subjective career success,the following suggestions are proposed :(1)To enhance the career adaptability of primary and middle school teachers to cope with the challenges and difficulties in career development;(2)Realize the subjective career success of primary and middle school teachers through job crafting;(3)Fully mobilizing the initiative is the premise for primary and middle school teachers to achieve subjective career success;(4)Enrich the career growth paths of primary and middle school teachers and explore diversified subjective career success paths. |
