The basic music education reform and the promulgation of the new \ "music course standard\", make the music curriculum in the school has changed, especially as one of the important contents of the middle school music teaching in the field of music appreciation, an important role in music teaching. This thesis through to the ping shan county high school music education on the basis of the analysis of the actual problem, according to the concept of new curriculum standard and requirements, proposed from the aspects of education concept, to grasp the concept of new curriculum standard, set up the aesthetic as the core of education concept, improve the music education the understanding of the significance, flexible response, according to their aptitude; From the aspects of teaching content, to the introduction of pop music, rich teaching material, the local music culture into the classroom; From the aspects of teaching method, adopt the experience type teaching, dialogue type teaching method and comparison method; From the aspects of teaching evaluation: to emphasize the teaching evaluation should reflect dynamics and development, diversified concept; From the aspects of teachers’ construction, to strengthen the construction of teachers’ sense of responsibility, improve the music teachers’ knowledge, improve the level of modernization of music teachers’ teaching, strengthening the communication between music teachers; From the aspects of teaching environment, to strengthen the construction of teaching environment, optimize the teaching resources.
