| Since its rise in 1950’s, global view of history broke the traditional and long-prevailing Euro-centralism, which give a way for people to jump out of the trap of the concept and to look at the whole world with a new and just angle of view. Therefore, many scholars were attracted to study and spread to make it more and more popular. Global view of history comes as a new historiography, is appropriate for modern history teaching. And with the deepening of reform of high school education in China, high school history classes need this type of historical view. It is required that global view of history applied as a new type of history teaching in high school. So as to make the students to have a wider view of look at the history of the whole world and the quality and efficiency will be bettered as well. It is necessary and a must that we import global view of history into the history teaching in high school to cultivate the students’ global view and critical thinking.
