History teaching plays an important role in school education. It enables the students to get an overview of the development course of human society and learn from history the achievements of civilization created by human beings to improve humanistic quality, forming a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values. As a concept more favorable in the current historical circle, the global view of history contains new historical theory and methods, which not only indicate a new direction of development for historical research, but also provide a new perspective for historical courses and teaching. Learning and absorbing the global view of history in new history courses of high school is helpful to the transformation of teaching method of history, further promoting the process of history course reform in senior high school. In order to comprehensively promote quality education, teachers should change their ideas and use the global historical view to guide the teaching of history. Introducing "global historical view" into the history classroom teaching of high schools and taking advantage of its vertical and horizontal historical views are conducive to the students' construction of knowledge framework and understanding of history and to the cultivation of students' abilities to analyze history.How to introduce global historical view into the history teaching of middle school is researched in this paper. This paper is divided into three parts. The first part firstly analyzes the theoretical and practical significance of using global historical view in history teaching of middle school and defines global historical view; and then it gives an overview of the present situation of domestic and foreign research on global historical view; finally it analyzes the relationship between global historical view and history teaching. The second part, the key part of this paper, focuses on implementation approach, application strategy and methods of global historical view in the history teaching, with each part elaborated with cases. The third part discusses the achievements and deficiency of the application of global historical view in the current history teaching.
