The view of Global History is a theory that examines humankinds' development from dispersion to integration from a global perspective.Its core content is the theory of civilization interaction in that global history values distinct civilizations with equal importance.Since new curriculum reform,senior high school history teaching in China has been reforming and increasingly emphasized cultivating students' attainment of historiography and thinking ability.In addition,senior high school history teaching has paid more and more attention to research trends of historiography and brought in a variety of theories.The view of Global History,with a unique perspective,is of great importance in senior high school history teaching as it satisfies the need of fostering citizens with global consciousness.The thesis aims to discuss the application of the view of Global History in senior high school history teaching,with a combination of new requirements of senior high school history teaching in new curriculum reform.The paper consists of three parts.The first part first discusses the problems of senior high school history teaching by referring to the needs of new curriculum reform.The necessity of senior high school history teaching with the view of Global History is illustrated as well.The second part discusses the method of applying the view of Global History to present teaching context by introducing specific teaching cases.The third part points out several issues that are supposed to pay attention to when applying the view of Global History to history teaching.
