Exploratory Research Of Undergaduate High-tec-skilled Talents Cultivation’s Pilot Reform

With the high-speed development of China’s economy, market’s new demand for talents has increased. If China wants to change its big manufacturing country to a powerful manufacturing one, it needs to upgrade and transform the industry. And it also is essential to cultivate satisfactory talents. Sichuan province’s undergraduate high-tec-skilled talents cultivation’s pilot reform project has worked with official enforcement since 2013. It takes national model colleges as its cooperative ties, connecting universities, colleges and related businesses in Sichuan to cultivate applied talents together, do pilot reform of high-tec-skilled undergraduate talents cultivation in some characteristic specialties. Undergraduate high-tec-skilled talents cultivation’s pilot reform is aimed at cultivating undergraduate high-tec-skilled talents which links business, school and government together, bringing all three’s power into full play and cultivating needed talents for China and Sichuan.As so far, it hasn’t been mature yet in China but is in the pilot stage. Experts in relevant fields hasn’t advanced a complete theory system for its research. And researches on school running’s orientation, model, goal, program, course construction and teaching evaluation are not systematic-completed. Meanwhile, it hasn’t been based on specific teaching situation to do a whole research in the process. In that context, this thesis mainly focuses on talents cultivation of fashion design and engineering major in Chengdu Textile College, to do an in-depth exploration on the undertaking undergraduate high-tec-skilled talents cultivation’s pilot reform in Sichuan. Related comments for undergraduate high-tec-skilled talents cultivation’s pilot reform is only aimed at the pilot reform in Sichuan and hasn’t involved the whole country’s applied talents cultivation. The main contents of this thesis are presented as follows:Part One mainly introduces this thesis’ s background, meaning, relevant references, research thoughts and methods, and summarizes the creativities and limits of the research. Part Two mainly discusses the current situation of China’s fashion design and engineering talents demand and cultivation, analyzes the new characteristics of China’s clothing industry developing demand for talents, presents the existing problems on fashion design and engineering talents cultivation. Part Three discusses the situation of talents cultivation of fashion design and engineering major in Chengdu Textile College, analyzing its implementation and summary evaluation. Part Four discusses both of the advantages and disadvantages on the pilot reform. Part Five puts forward some solutions and suggestions for undergraduate high-tec-skilled talents cultivation’s pilot reform. Part Six is the summary and expectation.
