During class, English teachers should centre on the construction of effective classroom management, which should use all kinds of teaching resources to coordinate the relationship between the teachers and students effectively, so as to realize the teaching goal. As a result, teachers must explicit that the specific content of classroom management is not only emphasizes on control of students’ behavior l, but also should emphasize the cultivation of the students’ various ability more, especially the cultivation of the students’ self consciousness. Under the reform of the college entrance examination, this thesis takes MC middle school English class for example. The author analyzes current problems of English classroom management in the ordinary high school and the causes of them finally make a suggestion on how to solve the English classroom management.This thesis is divided into four parts.In introduction part, it elaborated the background, purpose, significance, the literature analysis, research methods and ideas; it also described the definition of English classroom management in common senior high school and its characteristics and the standard. At last, it manifested some useful theory.In the second part, the author made a survey to obtain classroom management problems of Muchuan senior high school. It Mainly included: the classroom teaching target one-sided; the loopholes of disciplines on classroom management causing so many problem behaviors; teachers’ poor application of classroom teaching strategy; students’ negative participation in management activity.In the third part, the paper analyzes the cause of problems, those are: outdated and misunderstanding of classroom management theory; mistaken of classroom management purpose; unclear Classroom management principle; the teacher’s and Students’ negative influence on classroom management.Finally, it put forward some solutions for the effective English classroom management in common senior high school, including: to develop teaching methods of English class; to detailed and specify principles of classroom management and leisure the atmosphere; to improve the teacher’s classroom management ability; to weaken the students’ negative effect in management and so on...
