China and Thailand always has a great relationship, these two countries has a lot of work together. Chinese language has become a very important language in Thailand, with Thailand government’s support to establish and implement Chinese language education. Thailand’s school from primary to senior high school has Chinese language class in their education program. Recently, the Ministry of Education of Thailand and other related departments was discussing to reprogram Thailand Chinese language education plans, in order to developing and improving Thailand’s Chinese language education.Bangkok is the capital of Thailand, and also the center of Thailand’s education, that is the reason why almost all of the schools in Bangkok has Chinese language education. The strongest atmosphere of Chinese language education is in the senior high school, so the writer decided to research about the actual conditions of Chinese language education for senior high school in Bangkok, in order to let everyone to have more understanding about senior high school Chinese language education, the teachers and also the students in Bangkok, also to find out the existing problems in the education processes. Writer has already given out the questionnaires to 5 schools that have Chinese language education. The contents are about the arrangements of Chinese language education, teachers and students situations.The main details of this thesis as follows:Chapter 1: Introduction, writer believed that the Chinese language education in senior high school stage was very crucial. Bangkok is the Capital of Thailand and also the writer’s homeland. In addition, there are still very few of the thesis about Bangkok’s Chinese language education. Therefore the writer decided to choose the Thailand’s Bangkok senior high school Chinese language education conditions study as the research subject.Chapter 2: the summary of Thailand’s Bangkok Chinese language education, Thailand’s government is supporting the learning Chinese language education policy. This caused every school in entire country to gradually set up the Chinese language class for every school stage. The newest policy was about to develop the Chinese language class, to increase the Chinese language teacher’s force and to increase the effectiveness of Chinese language education. This thesis is also introduced Bangkok’s Chinese language education current situations, especially in senior high school.Chapter 3: The results and analysis of the Bangkok’s senior high school Chinese language education current situations. There are some aspects of this thesis results and analysis: the school’s class preparation, the background of Thailand’s Chinese language teacher and students, in-school and afterschool Chinese language education conditions and also the student’s plans for future.Chapter 4: The existing problems and suggestions for Bangkok’s senior high school Chinese language education through the questionnaires and conversations with the teachers and students. Writer pointed out some portion of existing problem in Bangkok’s senior high school Chinese language education, at the same time also pointed out some suggestions.
