Nowadays,China plays an important role in our world.Many countries around the world widely exchange and cooperate with China in many ways.Therefore Chinese language plays the high important role and it makes the number of the learners increases continuouslyincluding Thailand.Chinese language is very popular in Thailand.It can be compared with English as it is the language that people are interested to study like English.People are interested to study in it however the knowing of them is different.Some people study very fast but some are slow.Although they study it for a long time,the skills of them do not improve or develop.They are still in the beginning level.The sample groups of this research are the students studying Chinese in the beginning level in the Chinese schools located in Bangkok,Thailand.The 152 students in this research come from the four Chinese schools in Bangkok,Kosolphattharawit School,Trimitwitthayalai School,Tharnpanya School and Guang Zhao School.The Research Instruments are used for getting the information,Questionnaire for Strategy Inventory for learning of Oxford and Interview.They are analyzed the tactics to study Chinese in the beginning level and the factors which have the influence for studying Chinese.Moreover the research gives the suggestion properly for the Chinese teachers and students.The results of the research are found that Thai students study Chinese in the beginning level.They use Metacognitive Strategy in the highest way and use Affective Strategy in the lowest way from the References of Likert Scales for the five levels.The research is found that the students studying Chinese in the beginning level use the tactics for studying Chinese in "Sometimes" level.This research shows the frequency of the tactics to study for the students in this case that they do not get the knowledge in the high level and it is hardly different for these tactics.The factors of gender and objective for studying are difference for Thai students.The female students use a lot of tactics in the memory strategy more than the male students.However the gender is different,they clearly use these tactics in the different ways.The students who like Chinese and feel interested in it use the tactics of memory strategy for the factors of the objective in studying.In conclusion,Thai students who like and feel interested in Chinese study Chinese in the beginning level.They use the tactics for the memory strategy more than the students who have the factors of the objective in studying the other sides.The students can choose a lot of tactics from this research in order to develop the skills of Chinese for themselves.Moreover the teachers can understand the tactics for studying Chinese and can improve their teaching properly.
