Teachers in the traditional teaching mode is the inculcation of knowledge, students are passive learners, in the limited classroom teaching time, teacher training is difficult to pay attention to the personalized learning needs of the students and the students’ autonomous learning, cooperative learning ability. The background of the age, education reform calls for the integration of information technology and subject teaching, in order to adapt to the teaching development and reform, solving the defects of the traditional classroom. The purpose of this study is to base on the junior middle school geography teaching, combined with this emerging teaching way flipped classroom, to explore a feasible and effective way to realize the teaching of geography information, improve the efficiency of teaching and students comprehensive quality.In this paper, in teaching, peer teaching, constructivism learning under the guidance of the theory, with the junior middle school geography teaching as a starting point of the research, the important component that must be We Chat public platform design and development of suitable for junior high school geography classroom teaching model, turning strategy, resource, information platform, evaluation method based on turning the classroom. Self-study before class, on through two rounds of action research study and after class share stirring link lesson repeated practice and study, and constantly improve the design of conten t, to explore the effective implementation of the strategy of turning the classroom. Through practice and investigation and analysis, flip the classroom teaching mode helps improve the junior middle school geography teaching effect, at the same time awaren ess and ability of autonomous learning, cooperative learning in the promotion of the students, is a effective way to cultivate students’ comprehensive quality.The innovation of this study is: 1 based on the We Chat public platform effectively launched the research and practice of turning classroom, at the level of teaching practice to do a more comprehensive exposition of the flipped classroom. 2 according to the different types of junior middle school students, the cognitive characteristics of geographic knowledge to design the flipped classroom implementation strategy. 3 in the flipped classroom practice easy to neglect the emotional attitude and values objectives designed to target system and way of realization. These innovations provide a reference for the geography science and other disciplines of classroom teaching methods to carry out in-depth turnover.
