| Chinese teaching in Thailand has been growing flourishingly since Sino-Thai relationship was established. More and more Thai students want to learn Chinese, however, most of them just give up studying midway owing to difficulty of Chinese characters. The factors that led students make a lot of mistakes on Chinese characters mainly are the characteristics of Chinese characters, students’issues, teachers’problems. Nowadays, Chinese characteristics special course, in Thailand senior high school, is not widespread and lack of teaching designs, moreover, has the difficulty of learning, remembering and writing problems which are not solved yet.Currently, researches on character writing mistakes in the area of Thailand senior high school students are plentiful, so this thesis, through literature and research papers, summarizes the problems of Thai senior high school, and especially direct against beginners’problems to design particular Chinese characters teaching programs. This research take pictographic characters, ideographic characters, combined ideographic characters and ideographic plus phonetic characters, appeared In 《HANYU JIAOCHENG》 1 (Volumn One) text and HSK level 1-4 books, to use as an teaching contents, then start with five areas, course design, teaching objects, teaching contents, teaching fundamentals and teaching methods, to set up a particular teaching program. Lastly, I hope this research can provide Chinese characters teaching in Thai senior high school a valuable reference. |
