Since the implementation of the 8th High School Curriculum Reform in China, cooperative learning, which is a teaching mode advocated by modern education, has been greatly promoted and applied. The Cooperative learning allows students learning to share, communicate and collaborate with others. These important qualities of personnel training satisfy the requirements of the era!However, through literature research and practical observation, I find that cooperative learning hasn’t fully played its functions. Although cooperative learning has become the focus of academic research, the study of cooperative learning in high school Ideological and Political Course is still relatively weak, especially the "negotiation" point in cooperative learning. And negotiation, as an important factor in cooperative learning, is good for fostering students’ team orientation, enlarging their knowledge and enhancing their political learning motivation. That is to say there is no negotiation, there is no cooperative learning!Therefore, this study on the negotiation presented in high school Ideological and Political Class can enrich academic literatures in related fields, and promote the research capacity in political education; at the same time, it can provide a reference for high school teachers, and promote the educational level in high school ideological and political teaching. This study mainly includes five aspects:The first part is introduction, which expounds the topic and background of the research, hackles the articles of cooperative learning. Although the number of cooperative learning papers is large, the number of "negotiation" Studies in cooperative learning is rare. Moreover, there are scarcely any researches on cooperative learning and negotiation in the subject teaching of ideological and political course in senior high school. This is the necessity and significance of this study.The second part is theory research, by analyzing the meaning and characteristics of cooperative learning; it is found that the negotiation is one of the important factors of cooperative learning. Afterwards, I analysis the connotation of negotiation, summarizes the negotiation’s values on the students’psychological development, learning motivation and team spirit in the cooperative learning of the high school ideological and political lessons, in order to explain the indivisible and mutual promotion relationship between negotiation and the cooperating learning, and the importance of negotiation in the cooperating learning in high school ideological and political course.The third part is the problems of negotiation in high school ideological and political course by combining classroom observation and interview record of teacher and students. The effects are the followings:1. The lack of consensus in negotiation 2. The lack of coordination of the negotiation topic 3. The content of the negotiation is not close to the students’ life and can’t arouse the students’ interesting to negotiate 4. The teachers in high school ignore to guide the students in the conflicts of negotiation 5. The students lack the awareness and skills of negotiation 6. Negotiation places are confined to the classroom 7. The evaluation of the effectiveness of the negotiation has not yet been included in the consultative evaluation system 8. The methods of the evaluation are monotonous and lack the profound feedback.The fourth part is strategy to achieve effective negotiation. It is divided into eight parts:1. The subject of negotiation can lead students having different views.2. The content of the negotiation can make the students’ viewpoint produce conflict 3. Negotiation tasks should be responsible for each student, in order to build the positive reliant relationship among the negotiators 4. Teachers should guide the conflicts during the negotiating dialectically, impel the negotiation implementing favorably 5.Teaches should help students establish negotiation awareness and skills 6. Teachers should extend the place of negotiation, make the negotiation normalization.The last part is conclusion. It summarizes and refines the main ideas of the research and aims to give a reflection for future research.
