Hebei province began its new curriculum reform in 2009. Based on its fundamental, it includes two compulsory course modules. At the same time, material composition, structure and reaction serve as the main line to set optional module, realizing the course’s selectivity better.This module is a lower level of the university knowledge of material structure, which is added to senior high school content by the new curriculum. It emphasizes that students should be taught to understand the real scientific development process, to make sense of the mystery of material construction, to form the most fundamental and core concept of particles, and to preliminarily establish the thought of micro investigation that meet the needs of modern science, thus preparing the students with a good theoretical basis for their scientific literacy development. Due to its distinguish features, this module has appealed to a large number of first-line teachers and experts to research on teaching materials, teaching methods.This research studies via interviews and questioners in three aspects-the students understanding and the ability to use the law of the typical concept of this module, the love for the different ways of teaching & the ability to master knowledge and the characteristics of students’ own development (including spatial ability and students’ style). The author find that the students can’t understand the module’s concepts and theories clearly, especially Crystal models, who basically learnt by rote; they are unable to form knowledge network and establish particle view, and their application and strain are very poor. Apart from the abstract of the concept and theory, the teachers’ teaching idea and mentality, students’body and mind development and ability, the school hardware equipment can have the influence to the study of this module. Teachers should combine the curriculum standards and the three versions of textbooks in primary teaching, and look for some more refined and practical examples to describe the analogy to a proper extent or micro world; students also need to learn by action and carefully thinking as much as possible to build and strengthen the imagination and understanding.This research will reflect the basic requirements of students for first-line teachers, providing reference teaching methods for the teachers, making sure that teachers’ teach can better promote students’learning more, thus making student the main body of the class, achieving the goal of education reform.
