Since the compulsory education is implemented widely in our country, the overall level of basic education obviously improves. But the unbalanced development of education is to become outstanding problems existing in the current education status affected by many national factors such as society, economy, culture, system, infrastructure and public service facilities. School is the carrier of education and specific performance of education resources. Education facilities configuration planning is closely related with the urban education balanced development.This paper based on the current education resource of configuration in the Central Urban District in Chaoyang analyze unreasonable parts of the school resource allocation in terms of location, school resource quality and spatial association. Evaluate the accessibility of education resource and found relatively rich and the lack of education resources to provide decision support for adjusting the school district and optimizing the allocation.This paper consists of six parts:Chapter 1 is the introduction part of this paper, elaborate research background, significance, research purposes and literature review at home and abroad about layout of education facilities and GIS.Chapter 2 focuses on the theory used in this paper, including spatial distribution of education resources, spatial analysis technology and accessibility.Chapter 3 focuses on the current situation of education configuration in the central urban district in Chaoyang, analysis the characteristics of pimary school education resource allocation in terms of location, intercollegiate differences, interregional differences and the school individual.Chapter 4 studys the spatial analysis of layout of the basic education resources of the central urban district in Chaoyang. Use buffer and voronoi to divide education service areas and evaluate the accessibility of primary school.Chapter 5 summarizes the problems before and put forward principles and countermeasures.Chapter 6 summarizes the conclusions, shortcomings and future prospects of this research.
