A person’s lifestyle, including all aspects of their lives, generally refers to a series of long-term behavior of the people affected by certain national culture, customs, socio-economic and family influence the formation of norms and habits. With economic development, people’s lifestyles are constantly changing,but unhealthy lifestyle brought to people’s health problems have become increasingly prominent,especially in this special group of college students.Students due to lack of knowledge experience and life experience, they are lack of understanding and grasp of a healthy lifestyle, they are lack of ability to distinguish unhealthy lifestyle,college students is of utmost seriousness,such as skipping breakfast, high-salt-fat diet, partial eclipse drink, lack of exercise, staying up late, obsessed with the Internet, television addiction, self-enclosed, work and rest disorders, extreme act, drug dependence, smoking and alcoholism.These unhealthy lifestyle, to physical health and mental health of college students have brought serious adverse effects.Therefore, understanding the basic status of university student lifestyle characteristics and features of the relationship between mental health workers in favor of universities more targeted, more effectively develop healthy lifestyle education to improve students’ psychological health.To understand the relationship between lifestyle and College Students and Mental Health, this study took a random cluster sampling method, taking into account gender, professional nature, grade, if only son and other factors,This study selected the Yangtze University 405 college students were tested, using lifestyle Checklist and Symptom Checklist (SCL-90) on the way of life and mental health of college students conducted a questionnaire.377 copies of questionnaires, response rate was 93.08%; excluding invalid questionnaires, paid 347 questionnaires, the questionnaire response rate was 92.04%.The following are the research results:(1) the overall level of student life style in the middle level, where college students on alcohol and drugs, safety and stress control to maintain a relatively good living habits, but there are still some areas for improvement; college students smoking, diet, exercise and the physical health problems, and the need to give guidance university health, reduce the potential health hazard exists.(2) different gender students there were significant differences in alcohol and drugs, stress control, safety and lifestyle score, male college students on alcohol and drugs, stress control, safety and lifestyle scores scores significantly lower than female students score.(3) arts and sciences college there were significant differences in alcohol and drugs, stress control, safety and lifestyle score three dimensions, liberal arts university student health in alcohol and drugs, stress control, security in three areas of significant higher than the sciences.(4)different grades of college students there were significant differences in smoking, stress and lifestyle out of control, while students in different grades of alcohol and drugs, diet, exercise, and physical fitness and safety difference was not significant.Further post multiple testing results show that the "smoking" dimension, sophomores and juniors, sophomores and seniors exist significant differences, a sophomore on the health of smoking is significantly lower than the junior and seniors. On the "stress control" dimension, freshmen and juniors, seniors and freshmen exist significant differences in stress control freshman significantly lower than juniors and seniors. Scores on the lifestyle, there are freshmen and senior students a significant difference, the difference was not significant between the other grades, namely the overall health lifestyle, freshman to be significantly lower than the seniors.(5)whether there is a significant difference in one child on smoking dimensions, but if one child on alcohol and drugs, diet, exercise and physical fitness, stress control, safety and lifestyle score was not significantly different. On smoking, alcohol and drugs, diet, exercise and physical fitness, stress control, safety and lifestyle scores, college students from the scores were slightly higher than the child college students score.(6)The overall low level of Mental Health. SCL-90 students in the average score of each factor on the scale was higher than the national norm, and do gap analysis, we found that there were significant differences between the various factors with the norm, indicating that the current scale SCL-90 Students Each factor was the presence of abnormalities.(7)different gender students there were significant differences in the depression factor, and different gender students in somatization, obsessive factor, interpersonal sensitivity factor, anxiety factor, hostility factor, phobic, paranoid ideation, psychotic factor on There was no significant difference.(8)mental health arts and sciences college students basically the same, the difference in the arts and sciences college students somatization, obsessive factor, interpersonal sensitivity factor, factor depression, anxiety factor, hostility factor, phobic and other nine factors were not significant.(9)different grades of students’ psychological health of somatization, obsessive factor, interpersonal sensitivity factor, factor depression, anxiety factor, hostility factor, phobic, paranoid ideation, were present on the spiritual factor in significant differences. Further post multiple testing results show that the low level of mental health freshman and senior, junior highest level of mental health.(10)mental health child college students with and without siblings Students essentially flat. Child college students and college students from differences in mental health somatization, obsessive factor, interpersonal sensitivity factor, factor depression, anxiety factor, hostility factor, phobic and other nine factors were not significant.(11) lifestyle health of college students and mental health was a significant positive correlation, the more healthy way of life of college students, the higher the level of mental health. Students lifestyle and mental health scores somatization, obsessive factor, interpersonal sensitivity factor, depression factor, anxiety factor, hostile factors such as the nine factors were significantly negatively correlated. Exercise and physical dimensions of life and mental health factors forced significant negative correlation. Lifestyle stress control dimensions, safety and mental health scale scores and Mental Health Scale total score of nine factors were significantly negatively correlated.(12) regression analysis of the results showed that the degree of lifestyle healthy mental health of college students have a significant predictor. Among them, the stress control dimensions of mental health lifestyle has a significant predictor, security dimension lifestyle also has a significant mental health predictors.
