With the new curriculum reform promoting gradually, China has promulgated and implemented all kinds of new curriculum standard of the compulsory education. As for the music curriculum, the National Ministry of Education has promulgated The Full-time Compulsory Education for Music Curriculum Standard (experimental manuscript) in 2013, which is the most important file in the reform of music education. The Full-time Compulsory Education for Music Curriculum Standard (experimental manuscript) has formed a very clear mark of the three-dimensional education objective in knowledge and skill, process and method, emotional attitude and values. The establishment of education objective for emotional attitude and values in the two standard, has fully embodied the educational policy in "people-oriented" and "pay attention to the people’s all-round development". This has immeasurable significance to improve and develop students’ all-round quality.This paper firstly summarized the connotation of the emotional attitude and values, and then further discussed the significance to teach students with emotional attitude and values during music curriculum. After going through the literature material, this paper summarized the teaching function and the present research situation both in China and abroad of the emotional attitude and values. The focus of this paper is, through repeated reading the junior school music textbook published by the People’s Music Publishing House, studying the relevant content of emotional attitude and values in the textbook, counting and classifying the content of emotional attitude and values, combining the researching report, designing the corresponding teaching strategy.
