| Applying the idea of ecology into teaching classes has been a new perspective in modern class reform to observe classes. Influenced by utilitarianism education view, there appear various non-ecological phenomena in English class for primary students. Based on these phenomena, this paper aims to construct ecological English class for primary students to purse sustainable development. To guided by ecology and education theories, this paper utilize reference methodology, class observation, interviewing and behavioral research, etc. This paper was formed by six chapters:Chapter 1 is the introduction. It simply introduces the current research situation abroad and at home, and outlines the research purpose and meaning of this paper.Chapter2 is the conception and theoretical foundation. Compared by oversea ecological class researches, this paper defines ecological class and ecological classes for primary students. It also discusses the theoretical basis to construct ecological class for primary students in view of ecology and education.Chapter3 discuss the basic features of English ecological class for primary students. From the view of ecology, and integrated with primary school English, this paper puts forward basic features i,e. sustainable development target vector, harmonious eyesight of Chinese culture and western culture co-existence, free plat form for communication needs, and an open system extended to life.Chapter4 talk about the construction strategy for primary school English ecological class. Based on the primary school English ecological class features,guided by the ecology rules, this chapter tries to construct free classes ecological environment, choose life-oriented teaching content,adopt diversified teaching methods and carry out oriented evaluation mechanism.Chapter5 is exemption and practice. It constructs primary school English ecological class model by author’s true experience through various class activities, game, stories and presentations.Chapter6 is introspection and discussion for primary school English ecological class research and future development trend. |
