Study On Current Situation And Improving Path Of Higher Education Core Competitiveness In Zhejiang Province

In recent years, with the rapid growth of knowledge economy, the competition of higher education in the background of globalization, internationalization and marketization, is becoming more intense. The enhancement of the Core Competency of a single college can not be satisfying meet the actual needs of the development of higher education in China, so enhance the core competition of regional higher education has increasingly become the consensus. Currently, the results of this research on the core competitiveness of regional higher education are relatively less in Zhejiang Province. As a strong coastal province in the economic, Zhejiang is a big province in higher education, but not a strong one. Therefore, analysis and enhancement of the core competitiveness of higher education on Zhejiang Province,not only can enrich the theory research on the core competence of regional higher education, but also can help promote the overall development. This paper selects the the core competitiveness of higher education in Zhejiang Province and promotion of path analysis as the research object, expecting to make a positive contribution to enhance the core competitiveness of higher education in china.This paper writes in accordance with the " background, present situation research,comparative study, the path" and with the structure of " ask questions- analysis problem- problem solving". On the basis of combining with the relevant evaluation indexes in China and abroad, this paper selects education structure, education scale,education funds, infrastructure, teachers and scientific research strength as evaluation index to compare. According to the six indicators, the author makes a deep introduction and analysis on the present situation of the core competitiveness of higher education in Zhejiang Province, and compares with the neighbour Jiangsu Province which is same as a big economic province and the national average. The author makes some conclusions: the structure is reasonable and category is relatively complete; higher education scale is big; funding increase is fast and infrastructure is relatively complete; the teachers troop is optimized; But institutions quantity and total amount are not enough; Although higher than the national average in the most areas,but compares with Jiangsu also has a very big disparity. In response to the features above. The author suggests five methods to enhance the core competitiveness of higher education in Zhejiang Province: increase the funds investment, establish the new characteristics of universities, support a group of colleges and universities to high level develop and strengthen the construction of teaching staff, promote scientific and technological innovation ability and so on, in order to promote the core competitiveness of higher education in Zhejiang Province from several aspects and to enhance the core competitiveness of higher education in our country. The author tries to make a meaningful contribution to the development.
