This article aims to researching the background, system, objective, structure and contents of Australia preschool teacher training, concluding the development characteristics, combined with problems arising from our country, making some operational recommendations for the development of of preschool teacher training.The main study methods include historical method, comparative method and literature method. Based on the historic exploitation on Australian undergraduate early childhood education curriculum, seeking for difference and experience. The paper is divided into four parts, namely the system, current situation,characteristics and revelation of Australian undergraduate early childhood education curriculum.The first part introduces the historical development and current situation of the preschool teacher training system. On the basis of analyzing different historical periods of Australian preschool education teachers training system, it can be divided into four periodsrPrimary normal schools, teachers’colleges, colleges of advanced education, education department of university.The second part introduces the establishing basis and objective, structure and content of Australian undergraduate early childhood education curriculum.It mainly introduces eight universities in Australia.The third part, on the basis of analyzing the eight universities, sums up the characteristics of Australian undergraduate early childhood education curriculum:the objective system is relatively complete, the adaptability is extensive, the mode is flexible,the practice course focus on students’experience, the evaluation is diversified.The last part, according to our country’s problems and situation in Undergraduate early childhood education curriculum, seeking suggestions for our country:training objectives should be aimed at the needs of society, general course should consider individual development, add courses related to family and community knowledge, strengthen the practical orientation of the course, reform evaluation style.
