As is known to all, in Chinese teaching, writing is always the focus as well as the most difficult part. With the new curriculum reform, a new kind of writing teaching, experiencing writing, is being stressed and adopted by increasing numbers of Chinese teachers. Meanwhile, a great many experts have also made large quantities of fruitful researches. However, such related researches have not yet proved practical in terms of writing teaching. This paper is intended for resource exploration and implement of such writing teaching.There are totally four chapters in this paper.Chapter one deals with the significance and the current situation of experiencing writing teaching in middle school. This chapter is made up of three parts, the first part showing the current teaching situation by means of interview; the second part presenting reasons for lack of stress and failure in practice in the following four aspects, containing teachers, students, curriculum resources and education environment and the third one describing both the research background and the current situation and analyzing the importance of the research.Chapter Two is a basic explanation of experiencing writing teaching. This chapter also involves three different parts, containing the definition of experiencing writing teaching in middle school, basic features and related theory. As for the definition, what matters most is student orientation, organization of experiencing activities and students’ individual expression. Its basic features are as follows:emphasis on activities, arousing interest, combining reading and writing, considering procedure and diversified evaluating. The teaching pattern is based on the following theories:constructing theory, experiencing theory and writing psychological theory.Chapter Three focuses on the resource exploration of experiencing writing teaching based on the requirement in curriculum standards that Chinese teachers are supposed to attach great significance to exploring curriculum resources. After giving the general idea of building resource library, the author makes detailed explorations through numerous cases in life experience, emotion experience and reading experience with the purpose of presenting a relatively diversified and practical example.Chapter Four mainly deals with strategies in carrying out experiencing writing teaching in middle school, with the first three separate parts concentrating on encouraging students to accumulate experience, guiding students to express experience and evaluating experience properly and the last part giving readers six procedures in carrying out the teaching pattern, namely, identifying the theme of the activity, designing activities, gaining experience, offering communicating chances, evaluating and reporting students’ compositions.
