Teachers are the subject of teaching activities, the development of teachers’ professional plays an important role in comprehensively promoting education reform, promoting new education concept, and improving the quality of education and teaching,, even determines the success or failure of the education. In the situation of the teachers professional development of the high school ideological and political teachers, there are many problems such as the lack of self-development consciousness, ability and so on. Therefore, researching on the problems and Countermeasures of Ideological and political teachers’ professional development, is beneficial to promote the ideological and political teachers’ professional development, to enhance the effectiveness of Ideological and political course teaching, to promote the implementation of the new curriculum.According to the analysis of current high school ideological and political teachers’ professional development and the summarizing of the related research results at home and abroad, this paper mainly from four aspects to research. The first part mainly discusses the connotation and the necessity of high school ideological and political teachers’ professional development, the second part is mainly in view of the current problems in the high school ideological and political teachers’professional development, from three aspects to research, such as self-development ability, knowledge structure and the overall quality, the third part is aimed at problems found in the second part, from the four aspects of environment, teaching and research activities, teacher evaluation system and the traditional examination system to analyze the cause of problems, the fourth part is mainly discussion on how to promote the high school ideological and political teachers’professional development. This part is analyzed from three angles, first of all, first of all, teachers should enhance their consciousness of professional development, improve the ability of self-development. Secondly, schools should improve the effectiveness and pertinence of the organization and management activities. Finally, it needs to reform the traditional examination system, and establish evaluation system to promote the development of teachers’ professional.
