With the development of the new curriculum reform, the high school geography educators put more emphasis on to the local geography. Meizhou city is known as "the world Hakka city", which has rich natural resources and human resources. It is very useful for the high school geography teaching to develop and utilize the local geography curriculum resources in Meizhou city. It can help the high school students know more about Meizhou’s geographical environment and the splendid Hakka traditional culture, and carry forward the Hakka spirit. At the same time, it makes the students obtain more perceptual knowledge, through the local geography teaching to sublimate the students’ perceptual knowledge to rational knowledge, and to improve the performance and quality of the student.This article will put the Meizhou’s Hakka local geography curriculum resources development and utilization and the new curriculum reform of the high school geography together to study the present situation and strategy research. The purpose is to enrich the research of local high school geography curriculum resources development; This article combines the Hakka studies and education studies, and provides an example of the research of local geography curriculum resources development and utilization, it can promote the protection and inheritance of Hakka culture; For the research of Meizhou city, it makes geographic educators of high school know more about the important of local geography curriculum resources in Meizhou city. Especially the importance of Hakka history and culture in the teaching human geography, which prompt Meizhou education department to increase the consciousness of the integration of each country city geography curriculum resources consciousness and speed up the integration.In this paper, under the guidance of the basic theory of constructivism and pragmatism, using the method of literature, investigation and statistical analysis, to conducted questionnaire survey and interview survey for 1750 high school students,67 high school geography teachers in Meizhou and the geography education researchers. This paper uses the SPSS software to quantify the statistical analysis of the questionnaire date feedback, to get the existing problems of the Meizhou local high school geography curriculum resources development and utilization, and to propose solutions, and then puts forward solving strategy to meet the requirement of the new curriculum reform, including the contents of the new curriculum standard and Meizhou Hakka history and culture, to design the Meizhou Hakka content-based local geography curriculum resource tables, Meizhou Hakka high school rural geography teaching cases and comprehensive practical activity curriculum.Questionnaires included the student questionnaire and the teacher questionnaire. Student questionnaire is divided into four parts, which is including "the feeling for local geography, the knowledge situation of local geography, the practice of the local geography, and the feeling of teacher’s teaching way". Teacher questionnaire is divided into four parts, which is including the "understanding of local geography curriculum resources development and utilization, the condition of the development and utilization, the method of development and utilization, the teaching effect and difficulty.Through analyzing and discussing the data, this article gets three aspects existing problems of development and utilization conditions, practice and effectiveness of the local geography curriculum resources of the high school in Meizhou.Firstly, analyzing data from "understanding of the local geography, mastered local geography knowledge situation of student questionnaire and "’understanding of local geography curriculum resources development and utilization, the development and utilization condition" of teacher questionnaire, which conclude two problems of the development and utilization conditions:lack of subjective awareness and weak basic conditions. Secondly, analyzing data from "the practice of the local geography" of student questionnaire and "the method of development and utilization of teacher questionnaire, which conclude two practice problems of the development and utilization:concept of cooperation between teachers and students are not strong and the way of resource development and utilization is single. Thirdly, analyzing data from "the feeling of teacher’s teaching way" of student questionnaire and "the teaching effect and difficulty" of teacher questionnaire, which conclude two problems on the development and utilization effect:student evaluation of teachers" teaching way is so-so and the difficulties that teachers encountered is large.The article aim at the problems above, and according to the reality of the Meizhou high school geography teaching, puts forward three Suggestions. Firstly, improve the objective conditions. Specific strategies are as follows:improving the middle school geography teaching system, writing Hakka local geography textbooks, actively organizing training of local geography, increasing investment in education teaching. Secondly, strengthen cooperation among all parties. Specific policy is sharing the local geography curriculum resources. In view of the characteristic of Hakka local geography humanities attribute, which should be focus on human geography part of high school geography (Required textbook Ⅱ) and share the local geography curriculum resources. Thirdly, choose the appropriate way. Specific strategies are as follows: flexibly using the local case teaching and carrying out the comprehensive practical activity curriculum. |
