Taiwan, as an important part of our country, due to historical, geographical and political barriers on the long-term, Taiwan and mainland in the values, ideologies exist differences, but both are the same ancestor, flesh and blood, with the same ethical traditions and moral values. It has similarities in education, especially for mother-tongue education with language. Although the two places called for difference name, it is called "Chinese language and literature" in the mainland, and it is called "The national language" and "Chinese". There are similarities in the curriculum standard and teaching material. For example, they are stressing the cultivation of the ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing in the curriculum standard and choose to heritage the essence of traditional culture in the content. Thus, to research Chinese language textbooks in Taiwan has certain significance. Language teaching material is the carrier of mainstream social value orientation, it is not only the material of the students complete the study task, master knowledge skills and obtain ideological education. At the same time, it contains the value orientation has important influence to set up students’outlook on life and world view. Therefore, this article selects the junior Chinese textbook of Taiwan Kang Hsuan as the research object and focus on the value orientation analysis of selection in this set of teaching material. Through this research, hope for the future development and construction of the teaching material has certain guiding significance.This research mainly adopts literature and content analysis on the selection in junior Chinese textbook of Taiwan Kang Hsuan version, aims to reveal the value orientation of this textbook. This thesis mainly is divided into two parts, namely the introduction and body parts.The introduction part mainly describes the research origin, the research object and the research method, and definition of "Chinese textbook", "Value orientation" and "Value orientation analysis of selection in Chinese textbook". And sort out the research status of Chinese textbook of Taiwan and value orientation analysis of Chinese textbook.The body part mainly divided into three parts.The first part mainly discusses the historical and cultural backgrounds of Taiwan’s Chinese textbook. First of all, analyze Taiwan’s education under the background of Chinese traditional cultural, this section is mainly to analyze the developing course of Chinese traditional cultural in Taiwan and its impact on Taiwan’s education and textbook. Secondly, analyze Taiwan’s education under the background of the multicultural; this section mainly discusses the part of Taiwan’s multicultural and its impact on Taiwan’s education and textbook.The second part mainly analyzes the background of Chinese textbook of Taiwan Kang Hsuan version. First of all, discusses the background of curriculum reform in Taiwan, mainly discusses that the cause of Taiwan’s curriculum reform, on the one hand, due to the global course, on the other hand, some problems existing in the Taiwan’s curriculum. Secondly, from four aspects to Nine years construct course outline of primary and secondary schools in Taiwan, mainly for the basic concept, curriculum standards, curriculum ability and implementation. Finally, analyze the structure of Chinese textbook of Taiwan Kang Hsuan version.The third part is the main body of this article, mainly from the selected article title, theme selection, presentation, selected article to discuss the moral orientation, literary orientation, life orientation, classic orientation and modern orientation of Chinese textbook of Taiwan Kang Hsuan version, in the basis of the analysis, analyze the orientation of this set of textbook. The orientation of this textbook is mainly includes five aspects. First, this textbook pay attention to moral orientation, make students form good moral emotion attitudes and behavior. Second, this textbook is focusing on literary orientation, training students’ consciousness and ability of literature appreciation and evaluation. Third, the bright life orientation, expect to achieve the effect of their major. Fourth, reveal classic orientation, to accumulate the cultural background of students. Fifth, highlight the modern orientation, causes the student to grasp the artery of the development of The Times.
