The satisfaction about one’s living environment not only affects his/her mental health, but also affects his/her current activities and efforts for the future. College students are the hope of the China, and it is vital that the university life has an influence on their future direction. During the period of university, the individual decides their own learning arrangements, amateur life and circle of friends, and everyone’s time is the same, thus how to make their self-growth better in the limited time needs strong time management skills. It is time management disposition that individuals show in time management, which is a kind of personality traits. In addition, the university campus is equivalent to a small society, individuals’ adaptability to the situations in it will also affect their adaptability in the future. Adaptability shows not only in learning, but also in physical quality, interpersonal communication, career choice and so on. If a person’s adaptability in the university is good, so we can infer that he/she will quickly adapt to the society after graduation. When one behaves well in learning, interpersonal communication, career choice and so on, they will have a very high life satisfaction about their school life. Therefore, time management disposition and adaptability will affect the individual’s life satisfaction.The study aims at revealing the present situation of the current college students’ time management disposition, adaptability, and life satisfaction, providing the reference for enhancing college students’psychological health and helping making decisions on the setting of the school curriculums. Thus, this study investigates the relations among college students’ time management disposition, adaptability and life satisfaction. And Adolescence Time Management Disposition Scale by Huang Xiting and Zhang Zhijie was used to measure students’time management disposition, College Student Adaptability Inventory by Lu Xiefeng was administered to measure students’ adaptability and College Students Life Satisfaction Scale by Wang Yuzhong and Shi Songhe was applied to measure students’ life satisfaction. The results indicated that:(1)the scores of college students’ time management disposition and its various dimensions were in the medium level. College students’time management disposition and its various dimensions had no significant difference in gender, source, whether the party members or not and grade; the sense of time value was significantly different in specialty and campus; time management disposition and its various dimensions were more significantly different in singleton or not; whether applying for subsidy or not had a great effect on time efficacy; whether won a scholarship or not had a great effect on time management disposition, the sense of time monitor and time efficacy; whether as a student cadre or not had a great effect on time management disposition and the sense of time monitor, but post hoc test showed that the difference between the two groups was not significant.(2) the scores of college students’ adaptability and its various dimensions were in the medium level. Adaptability and its various dimensions had no significant difference in gender and source; interpersonal adaptability, self adaptability, livelihood self-management adaptability and somatic-mental symptom were significantly different in specialty; whether singleton or not had a great effect on college students’ livelihood self-management adaptability; whether applying for subsidy or not had a great effect on college students’ learning adaptability; whether the party members or not had a greater effect on college students’ career choice adaptability and livelihood self-management adaptability; whether won a scholarship or not had the greatest effect on college students’ learning adaptability and career choice adaptability; college students’ interpersonal adaptability, self adaptability, livelihood self-management adaptability, somatic-mental symptom, environmental general evaluation and overall adaptability were significantly different in campus; college students’ learning adaptability and career choice adaptability were significantly different in grade, and post hoc test showed that the difference between two grades was different; whether as a student cadre or not had a greater effect on adaptability and its various dimensions except for livelihood self-management adaptability, and post hoc test showed that the difference between two levels of student cadre was different.(3) the scores of college students’ life satisfaction and its various dimensions were at the medium level. Life satisfaction and its various dimensions had no significant difference in gender, singleton or not and party members or not; overall life satisfaction and objective life satisfaction were significantly different in specialty, campus and ever won a scholarship or not; subjective life satisfaction was significantly different in source and subsidy or not; college students’life satisfaction and its various dimensions were significantly different in grade, and post hoc test showed that the difference between two grades was different; whether as a student cadre or not had a greater effect on overall life satisfaction and subjective life satisfaction, and post hoc test showed that the difference between two levels of student cadre was different.(4) college students’time management disposition was significantly and positively correlated to adaptability and life satisfaction.(5) regression analysis found that the sense of time efficacy had a significant and positive prediction on adaptability; the sense of time efficacy had a significant and positive prediction on life satisfaction; adaptability had a significant and positive prediction on life satisfaction; time efficacy and adaptability had a significant and positive prediction on life satisfaction.(6) the relationship between the sense of efficacy and life satisfaction was partially mediated by adaptability.The results of the study provide a way to improve college students’ school life satisfaction by improving their time management skills and adaptability, thus provide a theoretical basis for improving the quality of training and college students’ physical and mental health.
