After sorting out the results of the studies of domestic and foreign positive psychological quality and professional happiness, the research using “the positive psychological quality questionnaire” and “the occupational well-being questionnaire”to investigate 367 young teachers in universities in Gannan area, and using descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, difference test, correlation analysis methods such as to analysis data by SPSS18.0 statistical software.Survey found that, overall, the level of young university teachers’ positive psychological quality in Gannan area above the average. Positive psychology quality is positively related with the variables of age, title, revenue and teaching age. In terms of career happiness, young university teachers’ professional happiness medium to low level in Gannan area.Professional happiness and title variables are related. Teachers’ professional happiness and education, wages are related, and there exists significant difference on the two variables of degrees and revenue,The analysis between the relationship of young teachers in universities positive psychological quality and professional happiness shows that Gannan universities? young teacher quality and professional happiness was significantly positively related to positive psychology(p < 0.01). Six dimensions of positive psychological quality has significant positive correlation(p < 0.01) with professional happiness and its seven dimension. There is significant difference between high group and low group of positive psychological quality. Happiness of high group was significantly higher than the low group. Besides the two dimensions of professional and interpersonal relationship, the score which the five dimensions including working in a professional happiness emotional, revenue, working environment, working effect, body health gained shows that positive psychological group of high score was significantly higher than the low. In addition, in gender, age, education, job title, salary, teaching age, the sense of happiness of positive psychological quality of high score group are higher than the low group.According to the result of the investigation above, the author put forward some suggestion of promoting positive psychological quality level of young university teachers. First, reinforcing learning to promote young university teachers? cognitive ability. Second, increasing revenue to improve the social status of young teachers in universities. Third, reducing stress to create a good atmosphere for young teachers in universities.Fourth, many measures simultaneously to concerned about the growth of the young teachers in universities. Fifth, perfecting the system to establish the scientific title appraisal and job promotion system.
