Illustration is a part of Chinese teaching material is the text of the second language, the full and effective use of textbook illustrations, will make the effective teaching results. But in the current teaching practice, teachers use less, the improper use of the situation It is often seen. illustrations, and even some teachers ignore the existence of textbook illustrations. Guidance teachers in teaching on the use of textbook illustrations of the single or missing, causing the students in learning, in addition to being a textbook illustration of bright colors to attract less foreign, carefully thinking of implicit information in the illustrations.In the new round of the basic education curriculum reform, one of the goals of the textbook reform is to let the graph, image, sound into the world of words, and work together to build a complete, consistent with the students’ cognition and required textbooks system. Let the teachers make full use of textbook illustrations in the service of Chinese teaching, students learn to use the textbook illustration of language learning, the fundamental purpose and this is what I want to study this subject.In this paper, by means of questionnaire to the teachers and students of fourth middle and Primary School Department of Inner Mongolia Hohhot city as investigation object. Through the investigation and analysis of the teaching,textbook illustrations illustrations in textbooks compiling, found the illustration teaching and illustrations prepared exist some problems. By analyzing the reasons and find out the effective strategies to guide the illustration teaching.This thesis is divided into three parts, from the current situation investigation of teachers and students to teach the Chinese textbook illustrations on people, find out the problems and the analysis, finally proposed the use of effective learning strategies textbook illustrations. Thefirst part of the thesis mainly of illustration of the meaning and the primary school Chinese Textbooks in the role of a simple description. Second parts to investigate using textbook illustrations to teachers and students, teachers and students are found ignore textbook illustrations exist, no systematic method to guide, or use are not appropriate and timely. In addition this compilation of textbook illustrations for teachers and students to do the survey, through the analysis to find out the problem of the compiling of textbook illustrations,such as poor positioning is not accurate enough, clear, and face the problem how to use the illustration teaching. The third part of the thesis is based on the problems identified above, from two aspects of teachers and students, put forward to solve the illustration teaching strategies, and examples of specific teaching cases to demonstrate the.In this paper, by means of questionnaire, case study, teaching case, the reference method, summarizes the method of using the textbook illustrations.The purpose is to inspire teachers and students use illustrations of interest,open a new way for teachers to enrich the teaching strategies of effective.While using the textbook illustrations let students observe more thinking, but also to provide students with a new way to understand the text. For students,using the textbook illustrations, can enhance the students’ interest in learning Chinese, opens up broad imagination space, provide a broad context thought can gallop freely. Through the illustration teaching effectively, also can improve the students’ aesthetic ability, strengthen the students read the text sentiment. At the same time, with illustrations, also gives students practice speaking, help write the opportunity.Discussion on the teaching of primary school Chinese textbook illustrations, the hope can cause teachers and students appropriate attention to textbook illustrations, it is beneficial to the illustration teaching.
