It is very common that using of auxiliary teaching materials in history class, history teacher uses all kinds of materials that became the primary instructional resources already. The materials enrich the content of courses,stimulate interest in learning, make student turn “demand me to learn” to “I want to learn”, this is the change of essential knowledge in history. In the process of training students to deal with historical data, not only master the learning method but also enrich the ability. It may be called kill two birds with one stone.But there are some problems in the progress,such as improper selection and unspecific explain,these need teachers to improve.In this paper, take Qitaihe Senior school as the research object,using the method of questionnaire survey to study the situation of applying auxiliary material in high school. Except abstract and epilogue, this paper contains four parts in the main body. In the abstract, recommend the question of “what is the auxiliary teaching material” and general classification, emphasize the significance, situation and purpose of research, these are the theoretical bases in this paper. In the epilogue, after making a plain conclusion, and then emphases the irreplaceable role of history. In the first part,under the support of two major theoretical,historical data that used in senior high school was divided into written materials and nonverbal materials.And nonverbal material show in the form of picture,data,object and movie and television.Furthermore,put forward the utilization principles.In part two,summarize the understanding and application of history teachers and students of arts by the means of interview and questionnaire survey. The third part is the key of this article, according to the questions reflected in the survey, put forward the concrete methods of collection and application to realizing the effective teaching of history. In part four, sum up the achievements and deficiencies in teaching results.By the study in this paper, different kinds of teaching method isexpectant to be used in history teaching, and indeed to assist history teaching.
