The latest curriculum reform of basic education in our country emphasized that “All for the development of students”, advocating to lead students learn and explore actively during the teaching process in order to transfer the teaching model from imparting knowledge only to research teaching.Especially in the chemistry class during the compulsory ed ucation, it is important to hold scientific exploring activities and encourage students to think critically, which can help students obtain the consciousness and ability of research,sharpen their practical skills at last.This paper is consisted of five parts:First of all, the introduction,mainly summarizing the background, purpose, meaning and research methods.The second part discusses the overview of research-oriented practice teaching, which defines its conception. First of all, "Researchful practice teaching" is a model which help students come the conclusion by guiding them raise questions, explore the problem and solve it through practice. It is a model which pays more attention the way how one student find the problems as well as explore the proble m using the theories through the chemical experiment and social investigation,then the teachers and the students would evaluate what they have done by self-summary or group discussion in order to cultivate the innovative thinking and hands-on ability. Secondly, it states relevant theoretical basis,which provides a theoretical foundation for researchful relevant theoretical basis, which provides a theoretical foundation for researchful practice teaching.The third part analysis the merits and demerits of the researchful practice teaching mode.This paper argues that the advantages of research-oriented teaching included :improving the students ability of autonomous learning,and learning in the daily life, cultivating Jack-of-all- trades.The fourth part is the application of the research-oriented teaching model in junior middle school. Through analysis and the teaching practice, the author selected two research projects which are closely linked to daily life and designed the scheme. What I chose every teaching design, to hope the teacher could be inspired by it and bring the better mind to cultivate the Jack-of-all-trades for the society. After that,the research summarized the teaching experiences, raising a proposal to improve the model: boosting the safety aware ness of chemical experiment, taking chemistry during daily life seriously,perfect the resources in campus, carrying out the school-based researchs.The last part of the research for this summary. This study aimed to explore the junior high school chemistry under the new subject of practice-based teaching model, through research and teaching practice enrich our teaching model at this stage, to train with innovative quality professional teachers, and have the spirit of research and practice people looking for a new way.
