Study On Coordinate Relations Between The Population Urbanization And Land Urbanization In Guangdong

Urbanization is an essential path in the process of modernization in our country.Urbanization is a multi-discipline integration that combined with demographic,economics,geography and the environment.The various fields have different views about the concept of urbanization.Economic development is the foundation,and population growth and geographic expansion are the performance,and higher standards of living is the final goal.Guangdong is a forefront of China’s reform and opening up,population and land resource construction are the core of guangdong province’s economic development.Therefore,it is an important significance that coordinating relations between population urbanization and land urbanization to achieve the modernization of guangdong province.Also,it is an important inspiration value to research the coordinated relations between population urbanization and land urbanization to healthy development of the urbanization.We can refer to the domestic and foreign relevant theory research,the paper is based on the curve of urbanization process,urban agglomeration theory,land resources and population bearing capacity theory,analyzing of population urbanization and land urbanization coordinated relations.The results show that the population urbanization lags behind the land urbanization,and population urbanization and land urbanization in disorder.At the same time,from the spatial distribution perspective,it is obvious that the prefecture-level city space of population urbanizationg and land urbanization are difference in guangdong province.Each level city in guangdong province not only disorder,but also most areas’ population urbanization lags behind the land urbanization.The reason of the population urbanization lags behind the land urbanization of guangdong is that the limitation of the household and land system.The household registration limitations hindered the process of rural migrant workers to citizenn,land system reform is not completely result in government excessively depend on land and get into a vicious cycle.To break through the population urbanization and landurbanization coordinated development bottleneck mainly from two aspects.First of all,from the perspective of population urbanization,to reform the household registration system,promoting the development of urban and rural areas as a whole.Secondly to increase jobs in cities, promoting citizen’s development ability.Again,to optimize the social security system and improve the quality of urbanization construction.From the perspective of land urbanization,making use of land resources rationally,to deal with land both short-term and long-term interests.Also government should be planning of the land space scientific,exploring the intensive land urbanization route.
