As one of the major measures that the central government is to further deepen the reform, the views on the implementation of the reform of Exam admissionsystem was formally issued on September 4 2014, which is the most comprehensive and systematic reform since 1977 when Restore the university entrance exam. It can be well understood if we interpreter this reform in anther way, that is, the total scores of the university entrance exam comprises three compulsory courses (namely, Chinese, Math, English) and three optional courses (no such distinction as liberal arts and science). In the detailed policy of the three optional courses, we cannot but pay our attention to such an explanation:"according to the personal hobbit and speciality of the student or the requirements of his/her intended school or major, the student can choose three courses as the optional subjects that will be tested in the university entrance exam from politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology, technology (includes common technology and information technology)." In this sense, does it suggest that after 30 years’ exam-oriented education we now truly focus on students themselves and their personality and interest? If it is true, every education entities and participators, with respect to their teaching methods, are supposed to change the former traditional class into the one that lays stress on students’ interest and personality. To cultivate the interest of history in students, combine their interest with practice, drawing their attention to the history class, which is the objective and direction for all history teaching faculties.This article obtains from the analysis of the college entrance examination reform of the new situation, through the survey of students learning history, parsing the college entrance examination under the background of advocating the introduction of interest in the teaching of middle school history reason, discusses the current situation of interest in middle school history teaching in recent years, and summarizes the existing problems and put forward countermeasures and suggestions on the implementation of interest in teaching and learning, hope to provide some inspiration and reference for educators in the new historical background to improve history teaching in the college entrance examination.
