| Teachers play a vital and predominant role in education. As teachers are the first resource in the development of education, unbalanced allocation of teacher resources will restrict further development of education. Information technology plays an evolutionary influence on education development and this highly definite generation provides a prospective clue for the extensive application of information technology in education. The synchronous class which makes teacher resource shared by information technology will become a new internet teaching model in solving the unbalanced allocation of teacher resources among districts, cities and schools through delicate organization and design.Our study bases on several typical synchronous classes and takes advantage of information technology to design and instruct an internet teaching lab. Meanwhile the lab is funded by the collaborative and innovative center of Hubei province which focuses on balanced development between informatization and basic education. As discussion class can manifest students’ subjectivity, improve their critical thinking and develop their creativity, we take discussion class as an example. Here we study several widely used interaction forms to determine whether discussion class can run smoothly under the condition of synchronization of local and remote classes.In this essay, we adopt four interactive forms including multimedia communication, free speech and discussion, discussion in groups and debate discussion that are frequently used in discussion class. In addition, we analyze the technology supported by internet teaching lab to realize synchronization of local and remote classes. Furthermore, considering different course contents among humanities and social sciences, natural sciences and arts, and different learning subjects such as primary and secondary school students, we design concrete discussion teaching cases and carry out empirical synchronous classes between local and remote class.We analyze the teaching adaptability that internet teaching lab has on synchronous class from the following aspects, such as the students learning process evaluation, teaching management evaluation, teaching environment evaluation and summarized evaluation. Our results show that there is some adaptability, practicability and convenience iri discussion teaching launched in the internet lambkin all, we can not only realize all the intercommunication forms in the discussion class but also attain better interactions between students and teachers in local and remote class by the use of internet teaching lab. |
