With the development of social informalization and the advent of the era of lifelong learning, information has become one of the most active and most decisive factor in various fields.The ability of obtain, manage, utilize information is not only the foundation of human survival, but also the necessary quality of lifelong learning of the learning society. The undergraduates are the builders of the country in the future, as an important part of personal overall quality, college students’ information literacy level directly affects the process of the development of learning society.As the advocating of the idea of universal education, individualized learning, and lifelong learning by the “National education reform and development of long-term planning programs”. How to train and bring up students of high quality information literacy has become an important part of college students’ quality education, and also directly related to the national information and social development potential and staying power, is also one of the important subjects faced today. It is particularly important to explore the system of students’ information literacy education based on colleges and universities.On the basis of a large number of literature research and investigation and analysis, the paper researches the connotation,evolution of information literacy and information literacy education,and the definition of related concepts,on the basis of the format,further discusses the related theoretical basis to carry out the information literacy education.The paper does some research on the college students’ information literacy and information literacy education in colleges and universities in Henan province. Through the survey, we found that the information literacy level of the students in low at present as a whole, and the colleges’ and universities’ information literacy education is scattered, non-system. Learning from the theoretical research and practical experience of American college students’ information literacy education, and the combing the reality of college students, and the colleges and universities in Henan province, we research on the integration system model of information literacy education based on the colleges and universities in Henan province. From the connotation, main contents, construction principles, system structure and construction countermeasures of the integration system model of information literacy education. On the basis of the above, complete the formation and construction of the integration system model of college students’ information literacy education of Henan province.The present status of the college students’ information literacy training in China is not optimistic. Lacking awareness of the importance of information literacy education in colleges and universities, the lack of coordination of the related departments, the lower level of teachers’ information idea and information literacy, at the same time, the relevant courses and training practice become a mere formality, etc, makes the college students’ information consciousness can’t keep up with the pace of information technology, the students’ ability to obtain and make use of information in generally poor in learning life, and the information security and information moral consciousness is weak at the same time. Based on this, it’s necessary to rational explore the integration system model of college students’ information literacy education, and will have very important practical significance to set up a system model of integration of college students’ information literacy education in Henan province.
