Based on the new curriculum and the theory of modern education, the author analyze and study the problem by means of sampling, document overview and experimental method practice by mind mapping in geography teaching in county-level high school reach the three-level standard. The purpose of this study was to design Mind Mapping at the high school level and to study its effect on students’ learning skills toward geography and provide the reference about operation situation of different kinds of teaching methods for geography. The subjects of the study are Senior2students from no standard school school. This study took about half a year. In this study, the author applied Mind Mapping to the geography teaching and instruct students how to use Mind Mapping. Before and after the experiment, students’ studying interests and scores is collect by using questionnaires and exam papers. Experimental data is analyzed by using statistical software. The results show that the application of mind mapping in geography teaching in county-level high school reach the three-level standard made the remarkable result as follows:the application of mind mapping in geography teaching in county-level high school reach the three-level standard.can improve students’ innovative thinking capacity and interests toward geography.Besides, it can promote the students’geography scores.
