| With the rapid development of higher education in our country, the orientation of collegesand universities has been switched from elite education to mass education, and a growing numberof students enter colleges and universities for further education, which intensifies the employmentsituation. what’ more, employers are paying more attention to the all-round ability ofundergraduates, thus improving the comprehensive quality of college students has become asocial consensus. Therefore, it is an important task confronting higher education researchers onhow to establish a scientific and reasonable comprehensive system for assessing undergraduates,thus fully advancing the comprehensive quality education of college students.The paper firstly gives an current overview of evaluation items of college students, analyzesthe existing problems as well as studies and contrasts the researches situation of comprehensiveevaluation on domestic and overseas undergraduates. Then by incorporating the seven principlesfor index construction, the paper establishes a set of performance orientated comprehensiveassessment indicator system of evaluation items on college students, applies analytic hierarchyprocess to confirm index weight, and sets up the AHP-fuzzy synthetic evaluation model. Finally,through conducting instance analysis of the evaluation items on students from Jincheng College ofSichuan University, the paper verifies the rationality of assessment indicator system and thefeasibility of evaluation model, and puts up six countermeasures and suggestions on promotingundergraduates’ comprehensive quality.The main achievements of this paper are as follows:(1) Establish a performance-orientated comprehensive assessment indicator system. Based onpredecessors’ researches and the physical truth of comprehensive assessment of students bycolleges at present stage, the author integrates the thought of “performance†and establishes ascientific and reasonable indicator system on comprehensive assessment of college students.(2) Establish AHP-fuzzy synthetic evaluation model and verify the rationality of it. Theauthor sets up AHP-fuzzy synthetic evaluation model by summarizing and learning from domesticand overseas advanced ideas and thoughts about student assessment as well as combining theadvantages of analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy synthetic evaluation. By taking the evaluationitems on students from Jincheng College of Sichuan University as an example, the author selects five students majoring in accounting from Grade11as data sample, evaluates them with AHP-fuzzy synthetic evaluation model, and compares the result with traditional assessment methodsand objective reality to test the rationality and practicability of the model.(3) Conduct countermeasure researches on how to promote the comprehensive quality ofundergraduates. The comprehensive quality of undergraduates can be analyzed throughfeed-back function of assessment. As for individual difference of students, the author, from theperspective of colleges, conducts countermeasure researches on how to promote thecomprehensive quality of undergraduates, and obtains six operable suggestions, which makestudents and school managers get the maximum benefits from the assessment. |
