Party and the country has always attached great importance to vocational education,the requirement in the whole education structure and layout of education, vocationaleducation must be laid out to more and more important position. The national educationwork conference, the central again, to vigorously develop vocational education,accelerate the development of vocational education for rural, strive to cultivate thestudents’ professional ethics, professional skills and employment ability. Secondaryvocational education is an important part of vocational education in our country.Vigorously develop secondary vocational education is to promote employment, improvepeople’s livelihood, relieve the contradictions of labor force structure of key links. Inrecent years, the party central committee under the state council to implement a series ofmajor initiatives, and continuously improve the policy environment, institutionalenvironment and social environment, promote reform and development of secondaryvocational education.Secondary vocational school moral education is the main channel of school moraleducation work, is an important part of the secondary vocational schools to implementquality education.Aiming at the existing problems in morality lessons in vocationalschools, many schools are constantly looking for new teaching methods and modes inthe innovation and reform of vocational education. The action-oriented method emergesas an effective theory and teaching approach for morality lessons in vocationaleducation. Based upon the analysis of its connotation and characteristics, this papertends to explore theoretical grounds of action-oriented method and its role in promotingthe reform of morality lessons and teacher professional development in vocationalschools. Furthermore, an insight has been given into the application of action-oriented method in morality lessons in vocational schools through a qualitative-empiricalanalysis with an attempt for beneficial effect on the teaching quality.
