The Investigation And Research On College Sports Venues Opening Up To The Public In Handan

With the advancement of people’s level of living, the public acknowledgement ofhealth and the demand for taking exercise increased. It becomes a new mode thatcolleges share their sports venues and facilities with the public. It not only promotesthe social sports, but also better benefits the market-oriented sports resources ofcolleges, thereby boost the sports industry. However, colleges are scattered and obtaindifferent facilities with different administrative regimes, plus the lowconsciousness of service, to learn from the successful experience of combing thecolleges sports facilities with the public from abroad, to set out suitable and feasiblepolicies based on the status quo of local mass sports, to better fuel the national fitnessscientifically and to realize the value of socialization of colleges sports facilities inmaximum is the main task for the harmonious development of colleges sports facilitiesand social demand.The thesis takes teachers, students, college leaders and other staff from ninecampuses of Hebei University of Engineering, Handan College and HandanPolytechnic College, as well as experts in sports and inhabitants in four maincommunities in Handan as samples. According to the thesis purpose, content anddifferent research objects, it carries out investigation by taking the staff on the out ofcampus from different gender, age, and occupation as respondents. From the aspects ofthe college staff’s attitude of opening sports facilities to the public, and the socialpersonnel’s desire for using college sports utilities, as well as feasible suggestions, thethesis conducts a study by adopting documentary method, field research method,questionnaire method, data statistics method and analytical method, so as to find outthe impact that the changes of social personnel’s sports environment bring to thecolleges, to propose feasible advices on the problem that arise from the two objects,and to provide reference for better enabling colleges share their sports venues andfacilities with social sports more scientifically. In conclusion, the insufficient sports facilities and venue resources in Handan’scommunities cannot meet most inhabitants’ fitness demand. Through the investigation,the colleges are rich in sports venues and facilities in Handan, which provide suitablevenues for physical exercise and leisure. It plays an important role in enhancing thesituation of insufficient sports facilities. While the public enter college to take exercise,it also creates value for the colleges themselves. It activates teachers’ enthusiasm,especially for the sports teachers, promotes their responsibilities, inspires theirpotential and also creates practice platforms for the students, thus improves colleges’social and cultural status.Thereof, this research proposes a development goal to better promote nationalfitness and life long sports. It changes the idea of opening up based on current sportsvenues and facilities, the administrative regime and management model, so as toincrease the public interest in physical exercise. While regarding teaching as priority, itdrives the national fitness scientifically and makes possible the prospect of thecolleges’ sports facilities and social sports helping each other.
