Whether the teacher can ask a question effectively has direct effect on the success of aclass. At present, it is common that the classroom efficiency of raising questions in ChineseReading needs improved, which has close link with the teachers, the students and thetextbook. Firstly, teachers don’t study the textbooks enough, leading to their inability ofsetting questions. Secondly, the students don’t have the awareness of questioning. Thirdly, the textbooks sometimes lack the guidance of classroom questioning because of textbookcompiling. Classroom questioning should follow the student-based principle, text-basedprinciple and the differentiation principle, so the teachers and the students cancommunicate well and can use the textbooks effectively. At the same time the questioningskills must hinge around the textbooks. The best strategy is one that can embody the ideaof new curriculum reform and that both the teachers and the students can take part in it.The dialogue strategy and the strategy of raising students’ awareness of questioning mustbe students-oriented and teacher-instructed. We should lead the students to learning alone, namely the cooperation and probation way of learning and much attention should be paidto develop students’ thinking ability. Different ways of questioning not only can stimulatestudents’ interest in study, activate the classroom atmosphere, but also can developstudents’reading ability from different angles.
