With the deepening of the reform of basic education in our country, theideological and political class teaching in high school draws more and more publicattention in educational circles and society from all walks of life. As the most basicand common form of teaching activities, class teaching plays an important role in thewhole teaching activities, and its teaching effectiveness will be directly related to thequality of teaching and talent training.Through studying a large number of books about class teaching effectivenessand related literature, and field investigation research, this paper comes to theconclusion that the teaching of ideological and political class in high school is rigidand monotonous; The phenomenon of exam-oriented education is serious and thetraditional teaching is marginalized. And then, from the teaching objectives, teachingmethods, teaching carrier, teaching reflection and the status of teachers and studentsin teaching activities to define the differences between effective class teaching andtraditional class teaching, concluding that the concept of effective class teaching andthe basic characteristics of effective class teaching. This paper from several aspects,such as, the direction of political education, the teaching goals, the state of students,interaction between teacher and students, classroom management, teaching situation,using multimedia, and combined with daily moral education, to construct theeffective class teaching. Finally, from teaching aim, learning situation, class activities,practices, and effective reflection to put forward its own proposals to constructeffective class teaching evaluation systems.
