With the rapid development of computer and information technology and the continuous improvement of school running conditions, multimedia classroom teaching has been introduced into the school, becoming a kind of common teaching mode. Thought political lesson as a strong ideological content and scientific course, it is not just to impart knowledge to students, and as the main channel to conduct moral education, it plays an important role in students' growth. Promoting the application of multimedia technology in ideological and political teaching process and making full use of modern information technology, contribute to improve the actual effect of ideological and political education.However, multimedia technology, after all, is a new thing, although in the modern teaching played a larger role in the process, but everything has two sides.The multimedia teaching model also has some disadvantages, so serious study and summarizes the multimedia technology to establish the effectiveness of ideological and political class is beneficial to foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses, making the multimedia auxiliary teaching process better, helping to reform the teaching methods, optimizing the teaching process, and improving the teaching effect.In this paper, based on the related theory and literature, as well as a questionnaire made in Tian Jiabing Experimental Middle School in Kaifeng, the author has carried on the empirical research about how to use the multimedia technology in the high school ideological and political class of effectiveness. This paper is roughly divided into four parts:The first part mainly introduces the concept of multimedia technology and its use in classroom teaching.The paper introduces the multimedia production, development and use in the education teaching process,and proposes that the emergence of multimedia technology is a revolution in the way of classroom teaching.The second part carries on the comparison to the traditional teaching mode and multimedia teaching mode, and as the basis of research. Paper respectively compares the advantages and disadvantages of two modes of analysis, and the basic conclusion is: the traditional teaching pattern has been replaced with the multimedia teaching mode, but by the culture for thousands of years the advantage is of still worth inheriting and developing; Although the advantages of multimedia teaching mode is the traditional teaching mode incomparable, its existing problems and disadvantages are also obvious. Two modes complementary advantages should be the direction of the teaching reform in the future.In the third part,the author has empirically analyzed the effectiveness of ideological and political education class to use multimedia technology through the questionnaire survey. Multimedia technology has been used for many years in the middle school thought political lesson teaching. However, what is the effect in the process of practical application ? Whether is it true that Multimedia technology plays the function and effect that traditional teaching mode has had in the process of teaching ? Based on the multimedia technology to establish the questionnaire of ideological and political class teaching, based onthe firsthand data obtained, extracting the multimedia teaching is to improve the students' interest in learning and multimedia teaching is to cultivate the innovation ability of students in six aspects: "whether is the multimedia teaching helpful to inspire students' autonomous learning consciousness", "whether can the multimedia teaching improve teaching efficiency" and "whether is the multimedia teaching helpful to carry out ideological and political education work". drawing the basic conclusion is that the multimedia technology to establish ideological and political class teaching on the whole is not do more harm than good,although there are some deficiencies and disadvantages. Using of multimedia technology brings to the thought political lesson the vigor and vitality, its practical effect is positive.Last part is teaching thinking about how to perfect and improve the multimedia classroom. According to the analysis the existing problems in multimedia teaching in the third part, this paper puts forward the subject of multimedia classroom teaching teachers idea of taking the students as the main body, and improves teachers' teaching skills and scientific screened with carefully selected measures to perfect the multimedia classroom teaching, such as multimedia material to make teachers and students to obtain the biggest benefit in the multimedia teaching. Multimedia teaching is the most ideal effect.
