Employment is the origin of people’s life. China’s higher education has gone through the elite stage to popularization, the employment quality of college graduates has attracted much attention at all levels of society. According to relevant statistics, vocational education has accounted for half of China’s higher education. In a world of increasingly developed market economy, full employment was selected as one of the target in macroeconomic regulation and control. To achieve this goal, national academic and government constantly concerned about how to promote employment. With the continuous enlargement of college enrollment over the years, the demand for college graduates to work far exceeds the supply of community work. Furthermore, the mentality of’unable to reach the top and unwilling to get to the bottom’result in the phenomenon of graduates mismatching the jobs also occurs; the employment rate of vocational colleges graduates is continuously down.Vocational college graduates as the future of hope and force of human capital, their employment quality relates with the level of quality of China’s economic construction and social stability, and in recent years, along with the continuous college enrollment nationwide. The situation of graduates’employment of vocational colleges has gone through larger impact and obvious decline in the quality of employment year after year. Therefore, the author believed that when studied the employment status of graduates of higher vocational colleges, research should be focused on the quality of employment. On the basis of quality evaluation system for university students on employment at home and abroad, the author seeks for our own evaluation system which is suitable for our vocational colleges. The dissertation explored the overall employment quality status of the vocational college graduates based on the overall index and then mentioned the various factors that affect the quality of employment. As a result, it in turn proposed targeted policy recommendations put forward to improve the quality of employment of graduates of vocational colleges, helping them to improve the quality of employment. While concerning the number of graduates’employment, we need to improve their quality of employment to let the vocational education play its proper role.For these reasons, the paper constructed the evaluation system of vocational college graduates’employment, and posed some studies on it as follows. First, it reviewed the quality of employment and employment-related theories and researches On the basis of the existing achievement, it built the quality evaluation system of vocational college graduates. On this basis, it made written or electronic questionnaires with nearly five-year graduates of L vocational and technical vocational college. The questionnaire was designed on four dimensions of "conditions of employment", the "labor relations","social security" and "job satisfaction". Based on the preliminary data collection of finished questionnaires, it analyzed the declining trend of overall employment quality of vocational college graduates, and further sequenced the factors affecting the quality of vocational college graduates in order of importance to extract the main factors affecting the quality of employment, that is remuneration for work, job stability and professional counterparts rates; and finally, for the above analysis, it proposed that for the quality problem of vocational college graduates, graduates, schools, employers and relevant government departments are needed to corporate with each other, adequate attention needs to be given by the society, and from the self perspectives, they should make the right decisions in order to address the problems of vocational graduates employment quality fundamentally.The analyzing and researching methods applied in the paper are:literature study, questionnaire method, charts and trend graph method, histogram method.The innovation of this paper is that the author based on the selecting principle of evaluation indices which past scholars have proposed. Combined with the characteristics of the vocational college graduates, the author ignored the employment opportunity, which is the indicator of pre-employment preparation, but focused on the quality of employment status after graduates’entry into labor market and build up their own employment quality evaluation index system on vocational college graduates. But there are also deficiencies in this article. Due to the limited deficiencies in this article, because the relatively limited number of samples of this article, the author designed questionnaire investigated only the quality of employment status of graduates Dalian L vocational colleges, and the sample period is only five years, a score of397valid questionnaires limitations and the limitations of the number of schools and other factors resulted in a sample of the paper’s conclusions limited coverage, may not fully cover the quality of employment status of graduates throughout Liaoning Province and even the country’s colleges, which is also studied the presence of a defect. So late in the study, the author will gradually increase the number of samples, and will cover the survey to more vocational colleges go, expect to get a more representative conclusions.
