The basic purpose of middle school Chinese teaching is to improve the students’ ability to read and write. But under the background of examination oriented education, teachers often ignore the interaction between reading and writing, and reading the importance, a direct result of language teaching is no students develop good reading habits, can effectively improve the students’ writing level. Therefore, the teaching of reading and writing disjointed, ineffective teaching, extracurricular reading status of embarrassing situation. In this paper, the from multiple aspects and angles, on the current middle school Chinese reading and writing teaching present situation carries on the analysis and find out affect reading and writing teaching effect is the main reason. Further explore the relationship between reading and writing, and the class reading extends to extracurricular reading, emphasizing the important role of extracurricular reading and thinking extracurricular reading the positive impact on the teaching of writing, to explore the methods and ways to improve the writing ability.According to the problem of discovery, analysis of the problem, solving the problem, this paper discusses the problem from five aspects.. First, the introduction part briefly summarizes the problems put forward the background and significance of the research, and taking the opportunity of study on basis of extracurricular reading to improve the writing level of the positive role, to explore the combination of extracurricular reading and writing teaching, reading teaching and writing teaching interaction, mutual influence, mutual penetration, and strive to promote a reading and writing level, to promote the reading ability in writing training. Second, analyze the current situation of the teaching of Chinese reading and writing in middle school, and analyze the reasons of the effect of writing teaching from two aspects of students and teachers.. Third, the relationship between reading and writing, and how to deal with the relationship between reading and writing is discussed.. From the reading to the extracurricular reading, the important role of the extracurricular reading in the Chinese language teaching is emphasized, and the influence of the extracurricular reading to the writing is analyzed from four aspects.. Fourth, the emphasis is on the four ways of improving the writing ability, namely, to stimulate reading interest, to cultivate reading habits, to read and accumulate, to read and write.. Fifth, through the above analysis concluded that pay attention to the organic combination of reading and writing, to write as a target, to read as a basis for the use of appropriate methods and techniques, help students better from extensive reading to learn writing, the continuous improvement of the students’ writing level. In extra-curricular reading as a link to the training of writing as a means, to guide the students in the classroom learning the text at the same time, but also to to promote reading writing, writing to promote reading, let the students in extra-curricular reading materials, choose their favorite way of reading, in order to stimulate the enthusiasm of students’ writing, further to improve the writing level. Similarly, through writing practice training students’ interest in reading, gradually formed a good habit of reading. In the combination of reading and writing, the situation of the students’ reading and writing is gradually improved, and the language level of students is improved effectively, and the development of students’ comprehensive quality is promoted.
