Narration and description,as basic abilities of writing,are important means of expression and fundamental to students' writing ability.It's a common phenomenon that high school students lack the ability to narrate and describe when writing,which forces teachers to be aware of their responsibilities.Despite a great number of books and valuable experience and views,they mostly serve separate topics of narration,argument,description and lyricism.While in reality,these means of expressions are usually combined,though they account for different proportion.Additionally,with the development of thinking and intelligence of high school students,it's advocated that they think rationally,and attach more value to clarity,specification and analysis in their writing.Therefore,their actual writing ability can be reflected in their ability to combine narration and description,which requires teachers to face the problem,seek the cause and find the solution.Therefore,this project aims at the research into narration and description which are lacked in actual teaching and the detailed guidance of the process by means of data,practice and reflection on classes.Based on the real situation,the project will include four parts:?.The current situation of students' writing ability.?.A survey and analysis of high school teaching of Chinese writing.?.The initial practice to improve students' writing ability based on in-class reading?.The in-depth practice to improve students' writing ability and build a pattern combining reading and writing.Here are some discoveries made through teaching practice.?.Rearrange the teaching to improve writing ability.?.Organize suitable materials that match the reading classes.?.Practice writing in reading classes.?.Reflect and discuss writing classes.This process will combine different writing styles such as prose,novel and poetry and select good materials for teaching.Students will form the outline themselves,thus developing a model for writing training and improving writing ability,and eventually an operable system will...
