Research On The Academic Learning System Student Management Mode Of Xi’an Jiaotong University

College student management plays an important role in the development of students. The academic learning system student management mode of Xi’an Jiao Tong University represents a novel type of student management mode, which targets cultivating versatile students. Took Xi’an Jiao Tong University as an example, we compared eight academies belong to it to investigate its problems and try to put forward the optimization strategies.There are three main reasons why Xi’an Jiao Tong University implements the academic learning system. Firstly, the reformation of social and economic system led increasing attention on the cultivation of talents. Secondly, several severe accidents occurred in Xi’an Jiao Tong University and the rate of misbehaving students is increasing. Thirdly, the traditional student management model in universities possesses inherent disadvantages, which is counterproductive to the development of students.Here, we compared and analyzed eight academies of the Xi’an Jiao Tong University through their training objectives, students’ distribution, organization structure, the general education curriculum and campus culture events, the results showed that Lizhi Academy specialized at training students to be competent candidates in national defense, while the other seven academies have similarities in the student cultivation process, which primarily focused on cultivating versatile students with creativity.There are still several main problems existing in the Xi’an Jiao Tong University’s academic learning system student management mode, which including the functions of academy departments are unclear, the work allocation and cooperation between academy and the college need to be enhanced, and academy culture has yet formed.There are five strategies to optimize the academic learning system student management mode:1.setting reasonable management departments;2. coordinating work allocation of different departments appropriately;3. valuing the construction of the tutor team,4. improving recessive education;5. maximizing the function of dormitory.The academic learning system student management mode of Xi’an Jiao Tong University adhere to the people-oriented and all-round education, which is conducive to the cultivation of innovative talents; the exploring and perfecting of the academic learning system is a time-consuming process, the development and advancement of which require combining both theory and practice.
