In recent years, with the increasing attention from the Party Central Committee and theState Council and a series of measures taken by each level of government, vocationaleducation has got rapid development. At present, the secondary vocational education has agood momentum of development and its enrollment scale is half that of the senior high schooleducation. As secondary vocational schools mainly cultivate high-skilled talents for society,practice teaching is the core content in their teaching links. Both the education reform andschools’ own development demand that vocational schools attach great importance to thepractice teaching and increase its proportion. After years of painstaking work, manyvocational schools have reformed the pattern of talents training; constructed curriculumsystem of Theory and Practice Integration based on practice teaching, and built training roomsand practice bases on-campus and off-campus to strengthen students’ practical ability. But as aresult of complexity of practice teaching link in vocational schools, there is no strongmonitoring in the aspects of establishing practice teaching system, setting practice teachinglink, and students’ learning in it as well as their teaching process outside of school.Given this, this thesis, taking a certain vocational school in Yan Tai as an example, studiesits practice teaching quality control and evaluation. Through its study, it shows that thisschool now has already established basic practice teaching quality monitoring system, set upspecialized practice teaching organization equipped with professional training managementpersonnel, and built full-time teaching supervisor team. All these approaches can assureschools’ practice teaching quality in some degree. However, by use of questionnaire anddeepening analysis, this thesis also finds that this school has flaws in system design, and theyare deficient in monitoring and evaluation of students’ learning process as well as theirtraining links outside of school. Besides, this school hasn’t established and improved practiceteaching quality monitoring and evaluation system. All the above leads to the dissatisfactionof teaching effects from full-time teachers and students and even lower employment ofstudents. On account of this, combining the school’s reality, this thesis absorbs advancedexperience of vocational education and practice teaching quality monitoring and evaluationfrom developed countries and regions, and puts forward suggestions of five aspects: build upscientific practice teaching monitoring and evaluation senses; organize, lead and improve practice teaching quality monitoring and evaluation system; construct dual-qualificationteachers; cultivate students’ learning interests and enhance the monitoring of practice link inand around school; establish scientific and practical teaching quality monitoring andevaluation system, hoping to offer an idea for the practice teaching monitoring and evaluationin this school and other vocational schools in our country and provide some implications forother schools to settle similar problems.
