Blackboard design is the oldest classroom teaching aids in China. It is asupplementary teaching device adopted by teachers to demonstrate teaching content,highlight the important and difficult points, and show the teaching system by words andsymbols. It summarizes and outlines the content of the text, leading the students to a betterunderstanding of texts by demonstrating knowledge in frames or synopses, in order tobridge between the students and the text. Besides, it can complement the oral expression,being a strong visual support of the teaching information delivery and acceptance. It is notonly a basic guarantee of effective teaching information delivery, acceptance andcommunication but an important method to improve classroom teaching efficiency.Junior school language classroom blackboard design art is the study object of thisthesis. The author try to find the relevant theoretical support blackboard design afterliterature reading, class observation, teachers’ interview, questionnaires and data analysis.So as to find the problems occurred in actual junior high school blackboard design, andput forward five types blackboard designed based on their needs and problems. Throughthe analysis of teaching cases, the author also tries to illustrate the basic steps ofblackboard design and its function. This thesis tends to provide a systematical theory tothose who about to embark on a teaching position as well as guidance to those who beingengaged in teaching, hopes to lead classroom blackboard to the correct use and providesome scientific methods.
