The Ministry of national education of China promulgated the "full-time ordinary highschool curriculum plan (the revised draft)" in early2000,one of the plate of thecomprehensive practice has proposed the theory of research learning. Research learning is akind of learning mode. Classroom introduced with researching learning is different withtraditional classroom. It advocates that teachers should give up the leading status in theclassroom. The main in the classroom should be students. The mode that students acceptknowledge passively in the past class should be changed into exploring and practicingactively.The traditional teaching mode of education focuses on the test, but the teachingmode which introduced with researching learning put the emphases into cultivating thestudents’ learning ability and the quality of scientific inquiryIn the high school stage of learning, students is on the key period at which they developindependently and pursuit of the personality. We should seize the psychology of students andfocus on training the ability of autonomous learning, and then school education can cultivatethe people who have the accomplishment of scientific inquiry and are self-reliance.A lot of students in the high school reflect that the physics is difficult to learn. Becausethe physics in the high school is more abstract than that in the middle school and othersubjects. Law of theorems with highly generalized make it difficult for students tounderstand.And the complex formulas and its application are still the challenge to thestudents’ logical thinking. In the traditional teaching mode, students depend on exams tacticsin the face of difficulties in learning physics. It makes the physics to be bored and to bedifficult to understand. In fact, theories in the physics are abstracted from life。So comparedwith other subjects the physics is more close to the student life. If we take it as a center in theclassroom design and to stimulate the desire for the student to seek knowledge, the study ofphysics will be very fun for students.This paper put the research learning into the curriculum of physics of senior high school,then to training students to inquiry of knowledge with the similar method of scientificresearch. To transform the teaching thought in class, the teacher is no longer the main body ofthe teaching process, but guiding students explore knowledge actively by the method of similar scientific research. Teachers just play a supporting role in the process of students’inquiry.The article expounds the value of physics classroom with research learning by the classof Newton’s first law.Students not only can accumulate the common sense of physics byresearching context of the law, but also can master the law of inertia deeply throughunderstanding the different views of Aristotle and Galileo. They also can know the feasibilityand advancement of ideal experiment created by Galileo, and establish a mode of thinking ofscientific. Finally students would have a comprehensive grasp of Newton’s first law inspiritedby teacher after feel the inertia personally through the experiment.Research shows that introduce research learning into Physics Teaching in senior highschool can improve the participation of the students in the classroom, Change the traditionalmode of thinking of them, and restore Physical which derived from life into life. The moreimportant is grasped and understand the target knowledge comprehensively in a relaxed,lively atmosphere. The desired result is achieved.
