The junior high school stage is also called hurricane of adolescence,which is a very special stage of a lifetime. Junior high school students arein imbalance of physical and mental. And interpersonal relationship styleis an important part of Junior high school students’ peer communication,and they play an critical role in social development.This study compiled a set of “junior high school students’interpersonal relationship style questionnaire” on account of interviewmethod and questionnaire survey. With the questionnaire,215junior highschool students were researched by using the methods of cluster sampling.This research in-depth exploration the impact of interpersonalrelationship style on peer group’s social behavior. It provides a new wayof idea. The results of this study are as follows:(1)The self-made “junior high school students’ interpersonalrelationship style questionnaire”, which includes communicative purpose,communicative needs, entertainment communication, learning communication and intercourse with5factors, and it has goodreliability and validity.(2)Junior high school students’ communicative purpose are in theupper level, however intercourse is just below the medium level. Theyhave significant gender differences in communicative needs, learningcommunication, intercourse and communicative purpose.(3)Peer group which is made up of male and female is less, and peergroup in members of the same sex is more.(4)Communicative purpose positively predicted aggressive anddestructive behavior, and communicative needs negatively predictedaggressive and destructive behavior in individual level. The rest were notsignificantly predicted. Peer group’s density had positive moderatingeffects to individual’s communicative purpose, entertainmentcommunication, communicative needs, intercourse and aggressive anddestructive behavior. Peer group’s density had positive moderating effectsto individual’s communicative purpose, communicative needs andshyness-sensitivity; Peer group’s centrality had positive moderatingeffects to individual’s entertainment communication, communicativeneeds and shyness-sensitivity.
